The Dryansky Gallery is family-owned and was founded by husband-wife team Geoffrey and Janel Dryan. Jilian Monribot, Janel's sister, joined the team early on. Together they are dedicated to offering San Francisco a program that embodies their personal curatorial vision. The gallery was officially opened in the fall of 2014.
Story Behind the Name
The name The Dryansky (pronounced: dry-an-ski) pays homage to the original "old country" Dryan family name, originating from a little village named Dryga at the border of Russia and Poland. In choosing this name we recognize our link to our forefathers and their ability to thrive and flourish in all of life's circumstances.
